The short version: Clawdia connects to YOUR server. We don't see your conversations, and we don't collect your data.

Overview

Clawdia is a voice interface for OpenClaw, an open-source AI assistant platform. The app connects directly to a gateway server that you control — we (Atlas Phase LLC) operate the app itself but do not operate the AI backend.

What We Collect

From the App:

Crash reports: Anonymous crash data to help us fix bugs (via Apple's standard crash reporting)
App analytics: Basic usage statistics like app opens and feature usage (can be disabled in iOS Settings)
Purchase information: If you subscribe to Clawdia Pro, Apple handles all payment processing

We do NOT collect:

Your voice recordings
Your conversations with the AI
Your gateway server credentials
Your location (unless you explicitly grant permission for location-based features)
Your contacts, photos, or other personal data

Your Gateway Connection

When you use Clawdia, your voice is:

Recorded on your device
Sent to OpenAI's Whisper API for transcription (using YOUR API key)
The text is sent to YOUR OpenClaw gateway server
Responses come back from your server and are spoken via TTS

We have no visibility into this process. Your conversations stay between you, your gateway server, and the AI providers you've configured.

Third-Party Services

Clawdia may use the following third-party services based on your configuration:

OpenAI: For Whisper (speech-to-text) and TTS (text-to-speech). See OpenAI's Privacy Policy

Anthropic: If your gateway uses Claude. See Anthropic's Privacy Policy

Your use of these services is governed by their respective privacy policies and your own API agreements with them.

Data Storage

On your device:

Gateway connection settings (stored in iOS Keychain, encrypted)
API keys (stored in iOS Keychain, encrypted)
App preferences (stored locally)

On our servers:

None of your personal data or conversations

Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. We may share information only:

With Apple for App Store and subscription management
If required by law or legal process
To protect our rights or the safety of users

Children's Privacy

Clawdia is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access any data we hold about you (which is minimal to none)
Delete your account and associated data
Opt out of analytics in iOS Settings
Disconnect from your gateway at any time

Security

We use industry-standard security measures:

All connections use TLS/SSL encryption
Sensitive data is stored in the iOS Keychain
We follow Apple's security best practices

Changes to This Policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes through the app or by email if you've provided one.
